George Harrison's Eastern-Influenced Slide Playing

Lesson description: There are some truly unique characteristics to George Harrison's slide guitar playing. His study of Hindustani classical music, combined with his knowledge of playing to changes, created his recognizable approach. Unlike blues-based slide, George often took large, fretboard-spanning leaps that encompass multiple tones and grace notes with a single pick attack.

This composition and the following lesson highlight these things, as well as the way he viewed chords and chord tones across the instrument to create his rapturous melodies.
